Civil Guard arrested members of the gang responsible for 16 thefts of items worth 100,000 Euros from homes in Alicante
Agents of the Civil Guard have detained four men aged between 30 and45 years for their alleged involvement in 16 robberies that took place in Alicante’s Vega Baja del Segura region and Medio Vinalopo. They are accused of stealing jewelry, watches, and eyeglasses. High value items.
According to a Benemerita statement, the ‘Tiflis23″ operation is part of Plan against Home Robbery. It began in June last year when the Civil Guard of Guardamar de Segura started investigations in order to find the perpetrators of several robberies committed with violence in Alicante’s towns of Guardamar de Segura and Almoradi.
In the initial phase, agents from the Investigation Area analysed the collected information and identified four individuals in the locations where the crimes were committed. Four men were vacationing in Torrevieja.
The researchers discovered that the suspects acted frantically in the morning with clearly defined functions. The researchers also calculated that the stolen items and money were worth 100,000 euros.

The people now in custody did not post signs at the door or inside the home, so the victims didn’t notice immediately what happened until the items or money were gone.
Agents from the Investigation Area conducted three home searches in Torrevieja, and the four suspects were arrested. Investigators found 150 jewelry pieces, 35 high-end watches, 26 glasses and 600 euro in cash. The total value of the items was 45,000 Euros. The investigators also found specialized tools to open doors, as well as gold sale contracts.
Four detainees who were charged with 16 counts of violent robbery inside a house have now been handed over to the Investigative court number one of Torrevieja.
